JWAA learned the ropes of commercial design within the corporate world, designing, sourcing and installing prototypical retail displays and environments. High-profile residential projects brought JWAA work to the attention of commercial residential developers who then commissioned the design of communal spaces for condominium and apartment structures, from urban high-rises to suburban complexes in central Ohio. 

Social and recreational common spaces, catering kitchens and business centers, lobbies, passageways and restrooms—amenity and utilitarian features alike are designed to accentuate brand identity, highlight legacy architectural details and provide aesthetic delight, functionality and physical comfort in equal measure. Options for structural finishes, decorative hardware, lighting solutions, furniture, leisure and fitness equipment, electronics, art and accessories are presented for client approval.
